Pretti5 is a clean, vegan beauty brand that combines traditional Chinese medicine techniques with modern science and technology.

Based in Hong Kong, Pretti5 products are made in Japan with a perfect blend of Eastern adaptogens and Western skincare technologies to create a series of natural, high-performance skincare products. Sold at the likes of Sephora and covered by Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, and Vogue, Pretti5 is taking the world by storm.

For Pretti5’s Hong Kong Shopify store, loyalty and retention marketing were a key focus. As with many merchants in Hong Kong, upselling and special deals are popular sales drivers. However, Pretti5’s previous loyalty program solution had no option for multiple VIP tiers (single-tier) and could not facilitate multiple gift and reward options for shoppers. This resulted in lower engagement than expected, hampering repeat sales opportunities. Another limitation of the existing loyalty program solution was that it lacked integration with WhatsApp, an important engagement channel for shoppers in markets like Hong Kong.

To make customer engagement instant, personal, and seamless, Wave Commerce introduced Wati, a WhatsApp Business automation platform with a seamless OMNI Loyalty integration.
