The Onitsuka Tiger story began in 1949 when Kichachiro Onitsuka made the very first pair in Kobe, Japan, with a commitment to promote youth health through sport. Still, to this day - the Onitsuka Tiger stripes are synonymous with premium sports performance.

Onitsuka Tiger is a lifestyle brand with a fusion of Japanese heritage and modern flair. With designs ranging from updated classic silhouettes to new styles and collaborations with like-minded artists and cultural connoisseurs, the spirit of Japan resonates in each new collection of Onitsuka Tiger shoes, apparel, and accessories.

In Hong Kong, Onitsuka Tiger’s previous ecommerce website was oriented towards branding without sales capacity. The team wanted to drive its own DTC strategy on Shopify to enhance its brand awareness & maximize sales in the local market.
