Wave Commerce was brought on board to revamp the entire Shopify storefront - from the visual hierarchy of the homepage to the tech stack powering search, filtering, loyalty, and Klaviyo marketing automation.

Tiny Clothes, Mighty Store: The Transformation

Wave Commerce undertook a comprehensive overhaul of My Little Korner’s Shopify site, focusing on three pillars: branding, discoverability, and retention.

The homepage and megamenu were redesigned to better reflect My Little Korner’s brand identity and highlight its diverse portfolio of curated labels. With our team’s data-driven expertise, brand categories were brought back into the navigation due to customer behavior, and a sophisticated visual structure was implemented to improve product and collection discovery.

One of the most impactful enhancements was the advanced search and filtering system. With a broad range of SKUs and product types, MLK required robust filtering logic, synonym support (especially in Chinese), merged attribute values, and merchandising capabilities - all of which were configured through a third-party search solution fully customized to MLK’s needs.

Recognizing the importance of a bilingual experience, Wave Commerce also implemented a multi-language setup across homepage banners, product data, navigation, and metafields, ensuring consistency across English and Traditional Chinese.

Beyond the Storefront: OMNI Loyalty and Klaviyo

To strengthen customer retention, OMNI Loyalty by Wave Commerce was deployed. This included mobile-first widgets, tier-based rewards, floating icons, and birthday campaigns - all localized for the Hong Kong market.

Additionally, Wave Commerce set up and optimized My Little Korner’s CRM stack with a custom Klaviyo automation strategy. Flows included welcome emails, post-purchase cross-sells, cart abandonment, and reward notifications. These were also configured in both English and Traditional Chinese, ensuring every touchpoint aligned with the brand's regional presence.
