Rolland Yip

Rolland is co-founder and Managing Director of Wave Commerce, a leading ecommerce consultancy and technology company. Rolland leads the team’s client services and product strategy to help global brands and enterprises accelerate their direct-to-consumer (DTC) business and omnichannel integration. Wave Commerce is recognized as a leading Shopify Partner, with a client portfolio that includes many of the world’s most valuable brands including ASICS, Logitech, Mead Johnson, Swisse and more. Wave Commerce’s proprietary ecommerce SaaS solutions are used by over tens of thousands of retail and ecommerce businesses worldwide.

Prior to founding Wave Commerce, Rolland led product management at BrightEdge, a San Francisco Bay Area venture-backed enterprise and SaaS content management leader, where he helped global internet start-ups and Fortune 500 enterprises rank higher on search with BrightEdge’s SEO technology. Rolland also held roles as a product marketer at Salesforce and a senior consultant at Ernst & Young. Rolland holds a B.A. from Stanford University and a M.B.A from the UC Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
